Now how's this for some good news? Eyeries has just won the Best Kept Town 2012 competition - both the Overall award and Best Kept Village. This is a fairly prestigious award. In fact, some say that it's more impressive than the Tidy Towns competition because the Best Kept Towns competition is Island of Ireland wide (including both Northern Ireland and the Republic).
Good on ya Eyeries Tidy Towns Committee, and the good people that have worked so hard to make Eyeries so picturesque! Your good work is sure to attract more people to events like the Eyeries Family Festival. For more information, go to www.eyeries.ie
